Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga. She was born in New York, York. Cynthia Louise Bissett was the Vice President of Verizon's mobile network. Her father was businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of a network business. The family she grew up with was Catholic and she grew up in the Upper East Side in Manhattan. The parents of her were enrolled in the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. Music has always been a passion for her. In the early years of her life, she began to learn how to play piano. By age thirteen, her first composition was composed. She's performed at a variety of open mics. Her favorite artists included David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson. When she graduated from high school she enrolled at the New York University's Tisch School of Art to learn about music. She didn't complete her degree. Instead, she began her music career.
