Donald Joseph Qualls - better called DJ Qualls - is a actor, model and producer from America. He shot to fame after his appearance in Road Trip. Since then, he has appeared in more than 20 films, such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He also has appeared on over 22 shows, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14, and has battled it ever since. After two years of treatment, his cancer is in Remission. The body of his was greatly affected by treatment, and his development was slowed down. The financial security was his first aim once he started because he had experienced poverty throughout his entire childhood. He said in an interview that he mentioned that if I do not have the financial security or have a feeling of being out of touch with the world, I'll be unhappy. In an interview the actor also discusses his own childhood. His goal is to end bullies. DJ states "Cruelty is a snare to my soul." DJ's dream role would be to become a father on reel as well as in actual life. But he admits Directors don't choose me for those roles. He'd like to be a dad one day, to be able to devote more time to his son and less to his career.
